Kathleen Guy helps lead the Commercial Real Estate & Banking Group at Andersen, Tate & Carr. Her practice is focused in the areas of commercial real estate transactions (with an emphasis on small business lending and government guaranteed lending, including representing lenders and certified development corporations in U.S. Small Business Administration closings and franchise lending), secured lending and business law. She has significant experience in the acquisition, development, financing and sale of retail and office centers, industrial properties, and residential subdivisions throughout the metropolitan Atlanta area. Kathleen also has extensive experience in representing small business owners/operators in lending transactions and she represents numerous banks and lending institutions in secured loan transactions.
For over twenty years, Kathleen has built trust, identified practical solutions, drafted documents and negotiated agreements/contracts for her clients. Kathleen invests in fully understanding her clients’ goals and exceeding their expectations. Kathleen became a Partner of the firm in 1996 after joining the firm as an associate in 1993.
