Justin Edge is an Associate in the Litigation Department at Andersen, Tate & Carr. Mr. Edge’s practice includes serving the diverse needs of clients in general civil litigation, commercial litigation, and contract disputes.
Mr. Edge earned his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law. While attending law school, Mr. Edge competed on the moot court team, where he placed as a finalist at the 2021 National Online Moot Court Competition and quarterfinalist at the Herman E. Talmadge Competition. He was subsequently selected as a pupil for the Joseph Henry Lumpkin Inn of Court. Mr. Edge also served as a Student Prosecutor for the Rockdale County District Attorney’s Office under Georgia’s Third Year Practice Act. Additionally, he was selected as a Robert Benham Scholar (endowed in the namesake of Justice Robert H. Benham) and as a 2019 Summer Legal Intern for Chick-Fil-A Corporate.
Prior to law school, Mr. Edge served as Campaign Lead Staffer and Office Manager for Mayoral Candidate Keisha Lance Bottoms. After a historic victory, Mr. Edge was appointed to serve as a Lobbyist for the City of Atlanta, managing all state level affairs pertaining to the Mayor’s Office. Mr. Edge was a recipient of the 2018 YoungGov40 Award – metro Atlanta’s top governmental employees under the age of 40.
Mr. Edge earned his B.A. in Political Science with a concentration in American Government and Politics, magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Morehouse College. He completed fellowships with the United States House of Representatives, the Georgia General Assembly, and the Walton-UNCF Education Fellowship program. Mr. Edge is a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Pi Chapter. He is also a Board Member of the Judson Lyons Society of Morehouse College Legal Alumni. Mr. Edge is a native of Americus, Georgia, and currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia.
